Flexible Payment Options & Project Estimates
Most services can be split into flexible payment plans to help make your editing or formatting investment more manageable. Whether you’re looking for a one-time edit, an in-depth story rescue, or a bundled package, this page outlines how payment works—along with sample estimates based on an 80,000-word manuscript.
Payment Options
For most editing and formatting services, I offer the following options:
- Flat Rate Invoices: One-time payment due at project start.
- Split Payment: 50% deposit to reserve your slot, 50% due at final delivery.
- Three-Part Plan (Preferred): 50% deposit, 25% midway (50–75% mark), 25% due upon delivery.
This is my standard and most commonly used structure—it offers flexibility while keeping the project on track. - Extended Payment Plans (By Request): Available for projects $1,000+ with custom terms (see below).
📌 Note: All rush jobs require full payment up front and are not eligble for payment plans.
All payments are invoiced via PayPal. Auto-reminders can be set up for all scheduled payments.

Extended Payment Options (By Request)
Available for approved projects over $1,000. These plans are ideal for multi-phase or longer-term services such as:
- Hybrid edits over 85K words
- Story Rescue or ghostwriting support
- Full-service packages (editing + formatting)
- Multi-month coaching engagements
📌 Extended payment plans are not designed for quick-turnaround or release-ready edits. They are best suited for in-progress, staged projects where delivery of final files occurs after substantial collaborative work is completed.
3-Month Plan:
- 33% deposit at booking
- 33% midway through the project
- 34% due before final files are delivered
Alternate structure available (e.g., 40/30/30) depending on project scope.
6-Month Plan:
- 20% deposit at booking
- 5 monthly payments of 16%
- Final files are released only once the full balance is paid
Recommended only for projects over $2,000. A discovery call and written agreement are required.

- Projects under $500 are billed in full unless otherwise discussed.
- Rush projects are not eligible for payment plans.
